The first time I heard the immigrant song by @ledzeppelin was in the movie #schoolofrock when @jackblack was driving the van, turns around and screams ‘ahh-aah’! Best movie ever! I LOVE making music, I took lots of influences from all the songs I have covered to make it. I wanted melodies like @The Beatles, slap bass like in @Lenny Kravitz songs, lead guitar tapping like Van Halen and beats like Bonzo from @Led Zeppelin . I put it all together to make my own song with help from my friend @Zuzu . Zuzu is a great artist and teacher.

Today was really awesome! I was invited to Virgin EMI records to visit the universal group studios in London. I met lots and lots of really nice people. I was asked the sign their wall of fame! 2 days after billie eilish had signed it! So Cool! I even got to hold Kanye Wests #britawards. It’s quite heavy! It was really nice to meet @terrellhines too. I had a really nice time and can’t wait to go back again and make some music one day!

This was the most difficult drum cover I have ever made. Learning Caravan from the movie Whiplash took me 3 months. First I needed to learn new techniques, then memorise all the sheet music. I was hard! I pushed myself and practiced so much. It took a week of trying to film. This song takes so much energy and stamina. I needed to concentrate like I had never concentrated before. It was not easy! I kept on practicing.
I love to keep improving and getting better. I wonder how I will play this song in a few more years.
I also wonder how many - 'Not my tempo' jokes I will get...

I had the best time traveling to Denmark to be in the LEGO Friends show! I got to stay at LEGO the hotel, visit the LEGO house. It was so much fun acting out my part using a motion / performance capture suit. This is my reaction to seeing myself as a LEGO character for the first time.

I was born in Durban South. In the summer if 2019 we went back to visit family. I didn’t have a drum kit for 3 weeks so I improvised on some drift wood I found on beach. Umdloti beach.
